Women in chemistry: In celebration of the International Year of Chemistry

Women in Chemistry The International Year of Chemistry 2011 is an IUPAC and UNESCO initiative to celebrate the achievements of chemistry and its contributions to humankind. The year 2011 coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize awarded to Marie Curie, and provides an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of women to science.

Internation Year of Chemistry 2011 This thematic series provides an insight into the achievements and contributions by women in science, and also highlights a selection of current innovative research by female chemists.
